Beryl's Riding School
Beryl's Riding School is just three hours drive from the city of Perth and is set on 80 acres bordering the State forest. This family business run by Beryl and Jim Eatts and is situated between the coal mining town of Collie, the country music town of Boyup Brook and the town of Darkan.
The property provides an ideal location for beginners to advanced horse riders, and for both young and old. Enjoy a leisurely horse ride though the natural bush, view spectacular wildflowers in spring and the abundant birdlife, kangaroos, emus and many other native animals in their natural environment.
If you would like a gentle meander through the bush, picnic by the lake, a challenging ride along the sandy tracks or a moonlight ride, come to Beryl’s Riding School. There are many riding trails, some in planted tree farms, natural bushland, dams and camps sites. Interesting horse riding treks follow the Collie to Darkan rail trail, constructed along disused railway corridor. Whilst riding in the area you may even come across a 600 year old jarrah tree!
Unwind and enjoy the country life on a working farm in the magnificent southwest of Western Australia - Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and home cooked meals, go horse riding or just sit around and relax. Accommodation is available for singles, families and groups and Beryl’s Riding School is open seven days a week.

5 Day, 6 Night Darkan Pub RideThis five day, six night tour is available through winter and spring months, allowing you to horse trek in the cooler months of the year. The cost includes all meals, accomodation, horse, helmets, guide, tents and swags. Alcohol and softdrinks are not provided.
