West Coast Honey
West Coast Honey offers a unique opportunity to view the world of bees. Set in a tranquil rural setting of Blue Gums and Banksia woodland is West Coast Honey - "Heaven from a Hive".
Come and observe the process of honey extraction (seasonal) from behind glass viewing windows, by this experienced family of beekeepers. West Coast Honey is proud to be the only showroom in Western Australia that has facilities open to the public, in a perfectly safe environment.
During the demonstration, friendly presenters provide complete information on bee keeping and central honey extraction and are only too happy to answer your questions. Different varieties of fresh natural organic honey from Western Australia's State forests and reserves are available for free tastings, along with honeycomb and pollen.
A complete range of honey can be purchased fresh from the hive, plus local products, a variety of gifts and souvenirs with a bee theme. Along more conventional lines the cafe offers Devonshire tea/coffees with fresh homemade scones and our special homemade, honey ice cream.
West Coast Honey can accommodate bus tour groups, school groups, and the individual traveller. All are welcome. The large carpark (caravan friendly), surrounded by wildflower gardens and walks, offers space to set down guests and a spacious cafe and viewing room provides comfort complete with toilet facilities (full disabled access).
There is something for everyone at West Coast Honey, so come along and have a "honey" of an experience, full of country hospitality and charm.
