Naragebup Rockingham Regional Environment Centre
The Naragebup Rockingham Regional Environment Centre is built on one and a half hectares on Safety Bay Road, opposite Australian heritage listed, Lake Richmond, home to two critically endangered ecological communities.
The centre has an impressive Enviro-Tech exhibition hall incorporating interactive environmental information and learning centres.
You will see local and tropical animals in the aquarium, wetland creatures and living rocks of the lake.
Visit the renewable energy and recycling projects and see the regional herbarium and weed displays.
There is also an outdoor area of the centre which has a 350 seat amphitheatre, gardens, nature trails and bush tucker area and eco playground.
