Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre
The Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre (WABOPC) gives you an opportunity to learn about birds of prey and see them in flight.
Yvonne Sitko, owner/operator has been actively caring for sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey since 2000. Her priority is to return them to the wild.
The displays educate people about the importance of conserving the natural habitat for birds of prey. The birds demonstrate a lot of their natural behaviours through flight and feeding.
Come and see the birds of prey in flight at 11:00am and 2:30pm on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays (except Christmas Day) and School Holidays. Yvonne will even do special shows on request for groups of 10 or more.
Contact Yvonne only on her mobile number as she is constantly caring for her birds of prey.
The business goal is education through entertainment.
Did you know that the Peregrine Falcon can reach a speed of up to 400 kilometres an hour in a dive or that a Wedge Tail Eagle’s eyesight is so good, it could read the fine print of a newspaper from one and a half kilometres away? Learn more at the Western Australian Birds of Prey Centre.
