Cohunu Koala Park
Cohunu Koala Park is set on a 37 acre property, just 35 minutes from the city of Perth and has a range of wildlife.
Come and make friends with the animal kingdom where you will meet and see koalas, kangaroos, swans, ostrich, alpacas, lamas, miniature ponies, dingos, wallabies, pelicans, water birds, eagles, wombats etc. These are just some of the wildlife that can be seen in their natural habitat at Cohunu Koala Park.
The koala is such a well known and popular Australian animal that special arrangements were made for a colony of them to be located at Cohunu Koala Park. Eucalyptus leaves form the staple diet for the Koala and to cater for this, eleven thousand trees were specially planted.
Cohuna's koalas breed six to eight young per year - most are sold to parks around Australia - the park has an intensive research program on Koalas within this colony - many unknown Koala ailments have been discovered.
Experience souvenir photo session holding one of our cuddly Koalas from 10am. Animal feed is also available for 40 cents a bag for those who would like to feed the kangaroos and emus.
