Heritage Rose Garden

This is the only Heritage Rose Garden in the south-west region. The garden has been established on a historic site, and was designed to compliment historic buildings in the immediate area.

A memorial section within the rose garden was opened on 19 February 1995 and dedicated to the fallen soldiers of the area.

Over 600 rose bushes are in the garden, the youngest dating from 1953 to the oldest 3,000 BC.
