Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity Church in York is one of the oldest Anglican churches in Western Australia. The historic church was built using handmade bricks in the 1850s and sits amidst picturesque grounds overlooking the Avon River.

The Victorian Romanesque style architecture and red brick harmonise with the scenic countryside of York, and contributes to the aesthetically pleasing streetscape.

Walk through the church and admire the beautiful stained glass windows. At the front of the church you will also find what is believed to be the last Albert Pease pipe organ in use in Australia.

Attend one of several church services that take place during the week and listen to the mystic sound of the organ’s eight bells resonating throughout the church.

Situated on the scenic banks of the Avon River in York, the magnificent place of worship is one of several churches significant in York’s development over the past 170 years. The charming town of York is a leisurely one and a half hour drive east of Perth.
