Police Station & Courthouse Northam

The Courthouse was built in 1896 and the Police Station in 1866. The Police Station was built due to public demand for Northam to be given a second Police Station and proper lock-up facilities. This coincided with the period in which Moondyne Joe was at large in the Avon Valley region.

The Courthouse still remains in operation today.
