Sutton Family Homestead

The house was built about 1880 from limestone and pit sawn timber.

It is a large eleven room home with 18 inch thick walls. The original owner, Henry Sutton, was responsible for establishing a thriving dairy and cattle industry in Mandurah. The Sutton family sold the property in 1977.

There are other historic buildings on the property including a two roomed limestone workmen's cottage.
