E de C Clarke Earth Science Museum
The E de C Clarke Earth Science Museum is part of the School of Earth and Geographical Sciences at the University of Western Australia. It is close to the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery and its main entrance is opposite the Sunken Garden. Step back in time as you enter the museum though the "Eocene Grove", a garden consisting of varieties of plants known to have flourished in Australia some 38-55 million years ago.
Enjoy browsing in this compact but comprehensive small museum. The bright and easily-read displays present information on a wide range of geological topics, and the interesting minerals, rocks and fossils are a feast for the eyes. Entrance is free, small charge for activities which must be pre-booked, disabled access available.
