Jahroc Mill Gallery
The Coastal Gallery is located in the main street of Margaret River in the South West of Western Australia and its also a historic building built in the early 1900's. The two structures were built as simple timber frame buildings clad with Jarrah weather boards and iron roofs. The front building was a trading post and the rear one a residence.
Both partners in Jahroc are passionate surfers and Margaret River apart from being famous for its wine is of course world renown for its powerful surf. The designs that are created in this region reflect the fluid lines and raw energy of the Indian Ocean.
The Jarrah, Marri and Karri forests are also a source of inspiration as well as raw materials. Jahroc Furniture has formed strategic alliances with timber millers that specialize in the salvaging of fallen logs from the forest floor. These unique pieces of wood yield unusual shapes and striking grain patterns not found in commercial milling operations. Often the design of a special furniture piece is born as a result of these rare odd shapes found on the forest floor. The result of this again is furniture that is truly unique and collectable.
There's one thing for sure, if you visit Jahroc Gallery you are in for a day out to remember and if you fall in love with anything at all, we offer a hassle free shipping service to your door anywhere in the world.
