Western Australian Museum - Maritime
Looking out over the majestic Indian Ocean, the Western Australian Museum - Maritime is symbolic of Fremantle’s past, present and future as a coastal town. The Museum houses six unique galleries, each focusing on a different aspect of Western Australia’s relationship with the sea.
From leisure boats and homemade vessels, handcrafted sailing boats to commercial pearl luggers the Western Australian Museum – Maritime inspires visitors to discover more about WA’s affinity with the ocean.
The Museum is also home to the winning America’s Cup yacht, Australia II, an Oberon class submarine, Jon Sanderson’s Parry Endeavour a number of iconic vessels from Western Australia’s maritime history.
Ask about an Annual Boarding Pass, for only $2 more than an entry ticket ($3 for Family) it allows you to visit the Maritime Museum as many times as you like in the following twelve months and gives discounted entry to the submarine and shopping discounts. Family entrance fees are for up to two adults and four children.
