Canning Reservoir
One of Perth's major water supply dams. The dam holds 90,500,000 kilolitres and was completed in 1940. The picnic area, one kilometre downstream of the dam wall is landscaped and shaded.
Walk trails lead from the picnic area to the dam wall, and pass through the site of the old dam construction camp. Barbecue, drinking water and toilet facilities are available.
