Pinjarra's Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens

Pinjarra's Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens has been awarded a Bronze Award for the 2007 Western Australian Tourism Awards in the category of Tourist Attractions.

Pinjarra’s Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens is only 10 minutes from Mandurah and 60 minutes from Perth. We offer a great range of animals in a modern complex. Directions from anywhere in Australia are provided on our website.

With seven acres of tropical setting including hundreds of birds, Pinjarra’s Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens is one place you will want to visit. It is especially popular with overseas tourists and children. Great for the family day out.

Pinjarra’s Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens is different to many other zoos because of its focus on interacting with the animals. There are many animals you can feed and cuddle including baby kangaroos, baby deer, goats, a tame fox, ferrets and walk in aviaries. Pinjarra’s Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens also offers an extensive collection of native and exotic birds as well as snakes and reptiles. There are animals arriving every week so there is always something to see.

Koalas are also here, as we are partners with Yanchep National Park for education and breeding. Pinjarra’s Peel Zoo and Botanical Gardens is also the base for the Mandurah Wildife Rescue Group.

We are provisional members of ARAZPA and Zoos Victoria.
