Cartref Park Country Gardens
Cartref Park began in 1986 as a place of peace and tranquillity, to encourage the native flora and fauna to return to their natural habitat, and a place for people to enjoy during all seasons.
There is six acres of garden including a large variety of native plants. The Mediterranean garden contains a more formal display of citrus, roses and lavender with many deciduous trees and shrubs making a colourful display in autumn. There is also the David Austin roses walk and a growing collection of Heritage roses.
Water features are in four different areas within the gardens. Ten different breeds of purebred poultry can also be viewed.
Escorted tours are available or you may walk the gardens at your own pace. Bring a picnic lunch for there are many beautiful places to rest, with views of the garden and a variety birds to keep you company.
