Oak Park & Gnamma Holes

The flora and fauna reserve of Oak Park lies 15 kilometres north of Goomalling and is a particularly attractive picnic area during the spring when wildflowers are found in abundance. It covers 1,130 acres and lies adjacent to two lakes which support a variety of wildlife.

A distinguishing aspect of the Oak Park Reserve is the presence of Gnamma holes (holes made by the Aboriginals for collection of water in earlier days) lying in the rocky outcrops very near the road. These holes always occur in groups of three. Oak Park has picnic and barbecue facilities.
