Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts
Located in the Perth Cultural Centre, the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) provides both an exciting and diverse range of contemporary art exhibitions and performances in a large heritage building, in close proximity to the state gallery, museum and library.
The Perth Cultural Centre is located just north of the Perth Railway Station and links the city with the Northbridge cafe, restaurant and nightlife area.
Entry to the gallery is free, with the visual arts program changing every six weeks. The gallery aims to highlight some of Western Australia's best contemporary artists in context with national and international touring exhibitions. PICA's website is the best way to look-up exhibition information.
The performances program includes theatre, music, and contemporary dance productions. Program and ticket information is available from our website or by contacting us.
