Visitors to Horizon – the Planetarium sit in comfortably angled seats as the universe is played out before them on a huge 18 metre domed screen, the largest planetarium dome in Australia.
All shows include Horizon Live! A presenter lead guided tour of the stars. You’ll learn all about Western Australia’s night sky and experience it like never before. Impress your friends by finding out how to locate major constellations and planets.
As part of the Horizon experience, we have a range of Space Shows on offer such as ‘Astronaut’, ‘Launch Pad’ and ‘The Search for Life: Are we alone?’ Take a whirlwind tour of the Solar System, visit the outer reaches of the known Universe or even soar through the landscapes of another world. With some of the most mind blowing images of our Universe and amazing special effects, it feels as if you are really there in outer space!
