Point Samson, Western AustraliaLocated a 20 minute drive north of Roebourne, Point Samson can be found at the eastern tip of the Dampier Archipelago. This tranquil fishing hamlet is an ideal spot to relax and soak up the quiet beauty of the northwest coast.

Initially developed as a shipping port with facilities to handle bigger vessels than those handled at nearby Cossack, Point Samson is now home to a large fishing fleet which enjoys the security and convenience of a new marina. The recently constructed rock groins and boat launching ramp also offer easy access to deep water fishing.

Point Samson is home to some fine beaches which provide visitors with snorkelling and shore based fishing opportunities. Popular spots include John's Creek and Honeymoon Cove. Whales migrating south can be seen from the shore from July to October.

Point Samson has a range of accommodation including two caravan parks, comfortable bed and breakfasts, holiday homes, chalets and a quality four star resort.

Point Samson is renowned for its famous fish and chips and some of the finest seafood restaurants.
