Mullalyup, Western AustraliaLocated just over three hours drive south of Perth on the South West Highway, Mullalyup is the northern gateway to the beautiful Blackwood River region. It is positioned in an area which farms fruit, vegetables, beef, cattle and sheep.

Mullalyup developed after the building of the Blackwood Inn (1860) and was gazetted a town site in 1901. The Blackwood Inn still operates as a five star accommodation provider and offers guests the opportunity to take a step back in time.

Mullalyup is best known today for its farming, art gallery and buildings listed by the National Trust.

An ideal holiday base, Mullalyup is central to all south west tourist attractions. Bush walking, bird watching, golfing, visiting wineries and the character towns of Balingup, Nannup, Boyup Brook and Bridgetown, are all enjoyable pastimes on offer.
